Our Story

how it all began

A love worth the journey

From a first hello in 2023 to forever — the moments that brought us here.

2023 where it all began

Every great story starts with a simple hello, and ours began in 2023, just one month before Leo’s birthday — and neither of us had any idea how much our lives were about to change.

What started as a friendship quickly grew into something much more. The more time we spent together, the more we realised that life made sense when we were doing it side by side.

Although we come from different countries and cultures, those differences have become one of our greatest strengths. They have given us the chance to learn from each other, embrace new traditions, and create a story that is uniquely ours.

Over the last three years, we’ve built a relationship grounded in friendship, trust, faith and plenty of laughter. Our faith has been at the centre of our journey, guiding us through life’s highs and lows and reminding us to keep God at the heart of everything we do.

We also share a love of adventure. Whether we’re hiking through the beautiful countryside, exploring a new city or simply spending quality time together, we love discovering new places and finding joy in both the big adventures and the everyday moments.

Like any relationship, we’ve faced challenges along the way, but each one has brought us closer together and strengthened the foundation we’ve built. Through every season, we’ve continued to choose each other, and that’s what has brought us here today.

When Leo proposed, it wasn’t just the start of a new chapter — it was a celebration of everything we’d already built together and all the adventures still to come.

We’re incredibly grateful for the love and support we’ve received from our family and friends throughout our journey. Having so many of the people we care about together in one place to celebrate with us means more than we can put into words.

Thank you for being part of our story. We can’t wait to celebrate with you as we begin our greatest adventure yet — aka husband and wife :-)
